Nails might seem like a minor detail, but they will pop up in your gorgeous boudoir images. Whether you decide to buff them out yourself or hit the nail salon for a pedicure and manicure, it is important that you arrive at your boudoir photo shoot with nails that aren’t chipped.

The week before your boudoir session is a time for preparing. Shaving or waxing your body is optional and totally up to you. If you are planning to wax for your session, please be sure to leave 3-5 days for you to heal before the session. The ideal time to get waxed is 3-5 days before your session. This allows redness and irritation to subside before your photo shoot.

I have photographed so many boudoir photography sessions with overjoyed customers and I know exactly how to pose you down to your fingertips! You don’t need to worry about a thing, you just need to simply show up for your session.
The day of your session, studio makeup artist will talk to you about the type of makeup with which you are looking to do and make her own recommendations based on skin type, eye shape, and more. Your clothing color pallet will also be part of the color decision for your eyes and lips, because the last thing we want is for your makeup to clash with your outfits!
